BUILDING GREAT GAMES AND A MORE EQUITABLE FUTURE STARTS HERE
Our North Star
To become the most inclusive, equitable, and diverse entertainment and tech company where our differences are valued and celebrated, diversity is leveraged as a strength, and inclusion and inclusive actions are part of who we are.
Growing together, gaming together
For Ubisoft, putting diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do means providing an environment where employees can thrive, building open-minded communities where players can connect, and creating games that reflect the diversity of the world we live in. Our vision of diversity and inclusion is multidimensional.
We’ve designed a strategy centered around four pillars: colleagues, culture, content, and community.
01
Colleagues
We want to build the most creative, inclusive, and diverse teams across all fields. We will continue to increase representation in our company by building more inclusion across our systems and ensuring equal access to opportunities for everyone.
02
Culture
We will keep fostering a culture of inclusion where our teams feel seen, heard, and valued. To support this, we will empower global and local Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support global teams as they develop their understanding of inclusion and strengthen belonging for all.
03
Content
We will create gaming experiences that push representation forward by embedding diversity and inclusion across our processes, increasing representation in our teams, and offering access to resources that help teams to build more authentic inclusive, and accessible gaming experiences.
04
Community
We will set the standard for inclusion for our teams, players, and partners, and will collaborate with leading organizations to expand our knowledge, grow our reach, give back to the community and champion inclusion in our industry.

How we give back
Ubisoft Toronto strives to be a positive force where we live and work. Through our studio’s programs and collaborations with partners, our impact extends beyond the games we make and into how we show up for our communities.
Protecting our planet
Carbon reduction
-10.8% is our reduction target per employee based on 2019 levels (which were of 9.5 tCO2e per employee).
100% renewable electricity
Transition to 100% electricity from renewable sources (vs. 74% in 2020).
Business travel
Maintain a low level of international business travel by continuously developing better remote collaboration tools.
Waste management
Eliminate single-use plastics, and reduce overall waste while optimizing recycling in all our workspaces.
Optimized workspaces
Optimize the power consumption of our buildings (heating, air conditioning, lighting, computer equipment).
IT Equipment
Extending hardware life cycles, and give a second life to hardware through reuse, recycling and/or donations.
From greening the studio with low-carbon, no-waste solutions, to our DIY bike maintenance series and urban gardening workshops, we’re rising to the challenge to make our planet more sustainable.
