The 20-Year Ubisoft veteran returns home to Ontario bringing his extensive experience in AAA-game production to guide the future of Far Cry and Splinter Cell
Today, Ubisoft announced that Darryl Long, a leader with more than 20 years of experience in the video game industry, has been appointed as Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto.
Darryl returns to his roots in Canada, building on his experience at Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Winnipeg, a studio he founded in 2018. He played an instrumental role as the Producer of Far Cry 5 and has collaborated with talented teams on many of Ubisoft’s biggest brands including Far Cry, Rainbow Six and Assassin’s Creed.

Darryl will continue to lead Ubisoft Singapore until the delivery of Skull and Bones before starting his new role in Toronto.
After two years leading Ubisoft Toronto, Istvan Tajnay has been appointed the next Managing Director of Ubisoft Montpellier in France.
