Creative director Clint Hocking explores the city, people, and real-world resonance of our version of near-future London in Watch Dogs: Legion with BBC Click.
When BBC Click’s Marc Cieslak visited Ubisoft Toronto last fall, we didn’t just tell him about the world our team created in Watch Dogs: Legion – we brought him right into it. We’ve done many interviews about video games in our studio’s nine-year history, but this is the first time we’ve done an interview in a video game.
Marc took a spin in our photogrammetry machine, and suited-up in a motion capture suit to meet creative director Clint Hocking on the performance capture stage. In this in-game interview, Clint explains why London was the perfect setting for the newest installment of the Watch Dogs franchise, all while they stroll (virtually) through Piccadilly Circus.
Watch now to get a peek at our upcoming game, as well as insight from our development team about our innovative Play-As-Anyone technology developed at Ubisoft Toronto.
