Far Cry 6 Nominated for 10 Global Industry Game Awards

We are proud to announce that Far Cry 6 has been nominated for 10 Global Industry Game Awards (GIGA)! 

Hosted by the International Game Developers Association (IGDA), the GIGAs are a peer-determined award celebrating the accomplishments of individuals and discipline teams across the many facets of game development. 

Far Cry 6 has been nominated in the following categories:

  • Accessibility Innovation 
  • Audio Technology 
  • Marketing 
  • Production/Management 
  • Representation 
  • Systems design 
  • UI/UX Design 
  • Voice Acting 
  • World Building

Votes may only be cast by industry members – you will be asked to provide either your IGDA membership number or confirmation of your employment. Voting will remain open until 28 April, 2022. 

Watch the GIGA ceremony 

GIGA winners will be announced at the awards ceremony hosted on Aug. 22, 2022 during the devcom Developer Conference in Cologne, Germany.
