This week, Ubisoft in Canada will join the QueerTech Qareers Fair & Conference to connect the 2SLGBTQ+ tech community with recruiters from Ubisoft Toronto and Montreal, as well as other tech employers from across the country.

The spring edition will take place virtually on Thursday, April 7 and  Friday, April 8, and will feature conversations about the future of work, workshops and networking opportunities. For more details, visit the event page here.

Diversity & Inclusion at Ubisoft Toronto

At Ubisoft, we strive to be the most inclusive, equitable and diverse entertainment and tech company. We look to leverage our diversity to create meaningful and authentic gaming experiences, while also ensuring inclusion and inclusive actions are part of our way of operating.

In addition to global efforts, our local employee resource groups – UbiProud ERG (Rainbow 6ix Toronto Chapter) and the Women & Non-Binary ERG – continues to play a crucial role in shaping our studio culture and D&I efforts. This includes giving queer people at Ubisoft a safe space to work and connect with others in the 2SLGBTQ+ community, improving cultural awareness and providing educational tools, and improving the representation of queer people in our games, as well as much, much more.

Building a more inclusive tech and gaming community with QueerTech

QueerTech is a Canadian non-profit organization that breaks down barriers and empowers 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in tech to achieve their personal and professional goals, feel a sense of belonging and thrive in the tech industry with pride.

Its mission to “queer the tech ecosystem” is driven not only by a desire to have greater representation in the tech industry, but also to ensure that the jobs queer people are finding will be safe and secure no matter how someone identifies. Their initiatives provide career opportunities, build capacity, create safe spaces and offer support in ways that recognize and augment 2SLGBTQ+ voices.

We’re committed to creating a work environment that reflects the diversity of our gaming community, and respects the identities and experiences of individuals on our team.

Interested in being a part of our team? Visit our career page or speak to a recruiter at the Qareer’s Fair.
